A new roof, built like we'd build our own
When repair stops making financial sense, we'll show you why, then build a roof ready for the hail, heat, and wind this part of Texas throws at it.
You'll know it's time before we do the work
We only recommend replacement when the numbers and the evidence support it. You get a documented inspection, photos of what we found, and a written estimate covering materials, labor, and timeline. No surprises on invoice day.
Every layer, installed to the manufacturer's spec
Decking, underlayment, flashing, ventilation, shingles. Manufacturer specifications exist for each layer, and the warranty depends on them: balanced attic ventilation is a condition of most shingle warranties, and it matters more here, where attics run 140 degrees on a summer afternoon and cook shingles from underneath.
The cheapest time to upgrade what's under the roof
A re-roof is the one time the decking is open. Radiant-barrier decking reflects heat before it soaks into the attic, and Department of Energy studies show 5 to 10 percent cooling savings in hot, sunny climates like ours. Adding it during a replacement costs a fraction of retrofitting later. We'll tell you when it's worth it and when it isn't.

Get the repair-or-replace callHow long does a new roof last in San Antonio?
Standard architectural shingles last 15 to 20 years in South Texas, shorter than the 20 to 30 they manage in milder climates, because heat and UV fatigue the asphalt faster. Impact-resistant shingles stretch that to roughly 18 to 22 years, and metal or tile systems run decades longer. Ventilation and installation quality move those numbers as much as the material does.
